Description
In the centre of naturopathic and herbal medicine is a healthcare tradition that often gets overlooked: Tibb.
While Western Europe was in the Dark Ages, Greek Medicine and other branches of classical learning found a safe haven in Islamic lands. Using Prophetic medicine as a foundation, Muslim scholars and physicians continued to make important discoveries and contributions of their own.
In this lecture, renowned herbalist and naturopath Hakim Salim Khan introduces the key principles of Tibb and how traditional medicine can be used to heal an array of ailments prevalent in the 21st century.
