The Prophetic Diet: Preparing Food and Drink for Optimum Health
Sat 17 Feb 2024 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM
MIAH Gallery at Moseley Community Hub, B12 9AH
Description
Throughout Islamic history, scholars and practitioners of faith and health have integrated Prophetic medicine (Ṭibb-un-Nabawī) into their own lives and followed the guidance left by the Prophet ﷺ, who gave us general and specific advice related to health, diet and lifetstyle.
In this 2-hour workshop with renowned Tibb practitioner Hakim Salim Khan, participants will explore the timeless wisdom of the Prophetic diet, discover which foods and drinks are best for our health, and learn how to source and prepare them.
This event is part of Muslim LitFest Birmingham. You can find the full programme here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/muslimlitfest
