'Traditional Islamic Calligraphy Workshop' with Esma Ceylan

Get a taste of traditional Islamic calligraphy with professional calligrapher Esma Ceylan, who studied the sacred art of Arabic typography under the prominent Turkish Master Mustafa Cemil Efe. Her philosophy focuses on calligraphy as a patient, meditative process of devotion, famously noting that "writing is only one part of the process—preparation is part of devotion".

The session will include an introduction and demonstration, followed by individual practice under the expert guidance of Esma.
