Muslims of Haas, in partnership with the Haas School of Business, Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB), extends a warm invitation to our annual Iftar Banquet on Monday, March 11th at Spieker Forum. Ramadan is a significant month in the Islamic calendar, with over 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide dedicating themselves to fasting, prayer, self-reflection, charity, and community. For 30 days, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, followed by a large feast or iftar at sunset.
This year’s Iftar Banquet offers an opportunity for individuals of all faiths to partake in our Ramadan traditions, bringing together Haas undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, and faculty for an evening of reflection, gratitude, and unity. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new connections.
Whether you observe Ramadan or simply wish to learn more about this tradition, your presence is deeply valued and appreciated.
Throughout the evening, expect engaging conversations, renowned speakers, and an opportunity to learn from the experiences of fellow alumni. Our aim is to cultivate a sense of unity and foster lasting connections within the Haas community!
