Rare Plant Rescue in Ramsey – Conservation in Action
Join Dr Philippa Tomlinson for a fascinating evening exploring a unique conservation project in Ramsey.
Rare and endangered plants were discovered on a site due for redevelopment and are now being carefully relocated to a safer new home. This guided visit offers a rare opportunity to learn about the species involved, the challenges of protecting them, and the practical conservation work taking place on the Isle of Man.
The evening will begin with a short introduction before travelling a short distance to view the plants in their new location and hear the story behind their rescue.
