River Dipping (Wildlife Watch)

Learn about our rivers health, inhabitants and how to protect them, with both feet in the stream!

Freshwater species that can be found in a river are super valuable to tell how healthy a stream is. Join us to learn how to recognise them! All equipment will be provided for river dipping and please bring wellies to go into the stream.

🎂 Age suitability suggestion: 4-12 years old

💷 A small booking fee helps with commitment and running costs:

• Members: £2.50 per child

• General admission: £7.50 per child 

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We ask for one parent/carer per child or family group to stay and support during the session. The accompanying adult does not need a ticket

This event is part of MWT's Wildlife Watch Group. Wildlife Watch events are usually held once a month during the school year and a special summer season programme is made for the summer holidays. They are aimed at ages 4-12 years.
