I am Mycock
Need help?
Andy Mycock's life is punctuated by friends and strangers making comments about his unfortunate surname. Daily acts such as phoning the bank or meeting new people are both hilarious and fraught. His ‘funny’ surname has impacted his job (Dr Mycock), meeting a partner and even naming his pet cat.
After a string of sell-out shows in Manchester, Andy Mycock is coming home to the Buxton Fringe Festival! He presents a comedic lecture (à la Dave Gorman) about living with his surname, drawing on a lifetime of amusing collected material and anecdotes. Andy also considers why men have a complex and often very public relationship with their 'manhood'. Join him as he goes on a personal journey to find peace with Mycock.
