SAMHAIN FIGHT NIGHT – PORT MACQUARIE

Samhain Fight Night pays homage to the fighters and pioneers who came before us, while showcasing the next generation of combat sports.

Inspired by Irish heritage, Samhain — the ancient Irish origins of Halloween — represents a time to honour those who went before. This event carries that spirit into the fight arena, recognising the pioneers who helped pave the way for modern combat sports.

Before MMA was widely sanctioned or accepted in the Western world, fighters travelled to Japan and across Asia to test themselves. Promotions such as PRIDE helped break down barriers and take MMA to the world. Today, combat sports continue to evolve, producing a new generation of highly skilled athletes.

Samhain brings that generation together across Boxing, K1, Muay Thai and MMA, competing inside a five-rope squared circle. This will be a sober event, honouring the sacrifice, discipline and preparation of every combatant who enters the arena.
