Camp Asad 2026

Salaam Alaikum!

Camp Asad 2026 returns as an opportunity to step away from routine and spend a weekend grounded in faith, brotherhood and sisterhood, and personal growth, in honour of Marhum Syed Asad Jafri.

We are honoured to be joined by Sayyid Ali Imran, Shaykh Murtaza Bachoo, Shaykh M. Al-Saadi, Sr. Zermina Awan and Maulana Sayyid Zaki Baqri.

Camp Theme: Woven Together

This year’s camp theme, Woven Together, is inspired by the words of Allah (SWT):

“Hold fast, all of you, to the Rope of Allah, and do not be divided… He brought your hearts together, so that you became a community through His blessing.” (Qur’an 3:103)

Over the years, each of us has been encouraged to grow as individuals: to strengthen our faith, develop our character, acquire knowledge, and discover our unique talents. But Islam teaches us that our journey does not end with just personal growth. A strong community is built when individuals bring their gifts together in the service of Allah.

Like a single thread, each person has value. Yet a thread on its own is limited. When many threads are woven together with purpose, they become something far stronger, more beautiful, and more enduring. In the same way, every camper contributes different strengths, experiences, and perspectives. By learning to trust one another, support one another, and work toward a shared purpose, we become a community that is stronger than the sum of its parts.

This year at Camp Asad, we will explore what it means to build exactly that kind of community, Inshallah.

From engaging lectures and open discussions with our scholars, including a female scholar, to sports, outdoor activities, late-night reflections, and time surrounded by nature, Camp Asad is designed to strengthen identity, build meaningful connections, and create lasting memories.

Please note, for this year’s campsite, cabins do not have attached washrooms. Shared washroom and shower facilities are located on site. All arrangements, including cabins and facilities, are strictly separated for brothers and sisters.

This program is open to ages 14-35.
