Successfully achieving a place at medical or dental school is often made to seem unachievable - at MyUCAT, we're here to change that! We will be demystifying everything that you actually and practically need to do to maximise your chances, addressing all aspects of the application process. Including a certified work experience talk, this opportunity will provide you with chances for reflection on personal statements & at interview!
The webinar will be led by MyUCAT founder Ojas @ University of Oxford. After scoring the second highest in the UCAT in his year (VR: 870/900; DM: 870/900; QR: 900/900; SJT: 1.0) or the equivalent of 2640/2700 in the new UCAT format, he went on to achieve 4/4 offers from Oxford, Imperial, KCL & Birmingham. Besides these unparalleled academic credentials, Ojas has personally supported 1000s of students from across the world with applying to UK institutions, including countless 99th percentile scores & offers from first-choice dream universities including Oxford/Cambridge/Imperial/UCL. In addition to vast experience with the process, we offer targeted advice to enable you to excel in light of changes to UCAT/personal statement that have taken place in recent years.

- How do I prepare for/excel at interview?
- Any others that you guys may have ! (+ a chance for Q&A at the end!)

FAQs
- Q: Is there any cost to sign up for this event?
- A: There is no cost, the event is entirely free of charge.
- Q: Will this event be recorded?
- A: To be confirmed. It is possible that we record some non-interactive elements of this webinar, although this is not guaranteed. Recordings will be shared with those who have registered prior to the event.
- Q: How will I receive my work experience certificate?
- A: Important message from Ojas - medical/dental schools do not ask for evidence of work experience in the vast majority of cases. It is about how you can discuss and reflect on experiences at interview only. Of course, it is obvious to an interviewer when you are being dishonest - so don't exaggerate! In any case, certificates are not a requirement. However, we recognise that many students are keen to collect these/put them on Linkedin. Certificates will be sent to all those who attend the whole event after the event is completed.
- Q: Do I need to sign up for your paid courses to benefit from this event/are you only doing this to sell me things?
- A: While we believe (and you can see our reviews to find that students agree!) that all courses that we run also offer great value - the purpose of this event is not to sell courses!
- Students historically have found this introductory event in isolation to be incredibly useful, often more so than stand-alone one-day courses at cost that they had previously attended with other companies.
- A: While we believe (and you can see our reviews to find that students agree!) that all courses that we run also offer great value - the purpose of this event is not to sell courses!
- Q: Why should we trust the advice that you have to offer?
- A: Besides the unparalleled achievement of our tutors, we dedicate vast quantities of time to remaining up-to-date with ongoing changes in the application process and necessary curriculum. We have supported 1000s of students from across the world with success in application process, and find students almost entirely via word-of-mouth referrals alone.
- More importantly - you can come to the event and see for yourself!
