Towards Sun Film Premiere

You are cordially invited to MZAB STUDIOS premiere of ‘Towards Sun’ 🎬

A feature length documentary, this art-house film explores hair in the African-Caribbean and Afro-Muslim community. Looking through archives and the story of the director and her family, as well as the stories of Black Muslim sisters and Afro hair experts, Towards Sun is an ode to the glamour, beauty and elegance of black hair and African-Caribbean women.

For the premiere expect a screening and brief panel discussion hosted by Khadijah Kuku with panellists and cast members Rahma S and Muna S as we spend an evening in celebration of afro women.

Dress code : Accra Nights, Afro Sultanah

This is a women’s only screening though young male children can attend. Women of all cultures encouraged to attend in cultural attire.
