The Nalam Gala is our biggest annual fundraiser, bringing our community together behind one major cause and giving us the opportunity to create meaningful, measurable change.

Expect live music, dancing, great food and a room filled with people from across the Tamil community. It’s a chance to dress up, celebrate together and enjoy a night that we hope becomes one of those dates you look forward to every year.

But the Gala has always been about more than the evening itself.

This year, we’re raising funds to support three hospitals in Eastern Sri Lanka with essential maternity and newborn care equipment. That includes safe delivery kits, newborn care equipment and patient monitors that healthcare teams on the ground have directly told us they need.

Every ticket bought, every table booked and every donation will help us move closer to that goal.

We’ll be delivering the project alongside Vanni Hope, our partner on the ground, helping ensure that the money raised translates into equipment reaching the hospitals and communities it is intended to support.

And we’re proud to be joined this year by Imperial Tamil Society, Nottingham Tamil Society, St George’s Tamil Society and UCL Tamil Society, bringing together students, professionals, friends and families from London and beyond for one extraordinary evening.
