Join renowned local author Rebecca Wilkinson for an entertaining cruise down the Napanee River and learn about the indigenous peoples and settlers who made their home along our stretch of the Napanee.

The Norman Paul is a fully licensed 45 foot pontoon boat that tours the Napanee River from the dock at The Waterfront River Pub and Terrace at 22 Water Street West in Napanee to the entrance to Mohawk Bay.

The tour is 16 kilometers round trip and is approximately 1.5 hours. Guests should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure time for boarding.

The Norman Paul is licensed to carry 48 passengers and 2 crew.

The Norman Paul carries a selection of wines, ales and spirits as well as a varied selection of non-alcoholic sodas and beverages.  There is also a selection of packaged snacks available on board. 

In addition, guests may pre-order a variety of sharing and snacking platters as well as lunches and dinners. These are all available on the ticketing page and must be pre-ordered when guests purchase their tickets.  Outside food is not permitted on board. 

Please Note: The Norman Paul is part of The Waterfront River Pub and Terrace but is separately licensed and operated.  If you wish to have lunch or dinner on The Waterfront Terrace, or inside either pre or post tour, please ensure you reserve a table through The Waterfront's online reservation system to ensure a spot for your party.

What if it rains? The Norman Paul is capable of lowering canvas windows which will protect guests from rain and moisture and will proceed as scheduled.

Grazing and Tapas Plates

Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls: Fresh greens, rice noodles, cucumber, sliced carrots and shrimp in rice paper rolls with peanut sauce. 

Crispy Falafel Bites: Falafel rounds served on a bed of Artisan greens. Served with our house garlic hummus, cucumber sauce and Zaatar. (Vegan) 

Hummus and Mini Naans: Our house garlic hummus and Zaatar served with warm mini naans. (Gluten friendly also available.) 

BBQ Crispers: Warm potato crisps served with our handmade creamy chive dip.

Share Board: A selection of meats, cheeses, hummus, olives and nibbles. Served with our house made crostinis, grainy Dijon mustard and black and green olives. Suitable for 2 to 4 persons.

Wraps

Thai Chicken Wrap: Fresh breaded chicken breast tossed in a sweet Thai chili sauce, topped with blended cheeses, baby greens, crispy bacon and our black pepper aioli. Served with a mixed greens salad and our House Maple Dijon Vinaigrette. 

Tuscan Chicken Wrap: Fresh spinach, grilled chicken, tomato, cucumber, red onion, feta and mozzarella cheeses finished with our house made basil aioli. Served with our mixed greens salad and our House Maple Dijon Vinaigrette. (Gluten friendly also available.)

The Champlain: Fresh roasted sage and rosemary turkey, cranberry mayo, spinach and Brie on a toasted croissant.

Vegetarian Falafel Wrap: Fresh spinach, tomato, cucumber, red onion, crispy falafel, garlic hummus, feta and mozzarella cheeses wrapped in a fresh flour tortilla. Served with a mixed greens salad and our House Maple Dijon dressing.

Salads

The Saint Jacobs: Artisan greens, feta, beets, purple onion, pears, grapes and sugared pecans with our maple dijon vinaigrette. Served with garlic baguette points. Chicken may be added. (Gluten friendly also available.)

The Waterfront Cobb Salad: Artisan greens topped with grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, green onions, bacon, hard-boiled eggs and goat cheese with our housemade red wine vinaigrette.  Served with garlic baguette points. (Gluten friendly also available.)
