HMS Victory - The Big Repair

An insight into HMS Victory's biggest conservation project since the 1920's with AJ Noon from the NMRN's Project Management Office. This talk will explain the aims of the project, the progress so far, the future works, and the challenges involved in ensuring that HMS Victory survives for future generations.

AJ Noon has worked for the NMRN for the past ten years, and has been with the Victory project for the last two-and-a-half years. In his spare time, he has written books on HMS Victory and Portsmouth, and his current series, Navy Notes, takes classic accounts from the Age of Sail and enhances them with annotations, supplementary contemporary material, illustrations, and indexes.
