This inspiring film takes you back to the very beginning of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Audrey’s Children tells the story of Dr. Audrey Evans, co-founder of the first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. The film highlights her remarkable life as a woman in medicine and emphasizes the realities and hardships that families at Ronald McDonald House Charities face each and every day.  She was a pivotal figure in igniting this global movement of care, compassion, and support. 

Half of the ticket proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk, helping us keep families together when they need it most. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. The sales benefit RMHC Norfolk. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk provides a home-away-from-home to sick or injured children. Just steps away from Children's Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD), families can get a good night's sleep, feel refreshed, and be ready to participate with the hospital care team. With access to washer/dryers, donated food items, and meals prepared by generous and caring groups of volunteers, the families can focus on what truly matters: being present for their children.  (PG, 1h 50m) RMHC Norfolk also offers a Day Usage Program for families who are not staying at Ronald McDonald House but have a child at CHKD. This Program provides families with a respite from the hospital while their children receive care. We offer free Wi-Fi, access to the laundry room, and access to the kitchen and food.
