Identifying Ants for Beginners
This workshop will give you a practical introduction to some of our most common ants. Join John Breen to learn about the life cycle of ants, the different habitats where they are found, and the features to look for when identifying and recording different species.
In the afternoon, we will head to nearby woodland to see examples of ants and test your new identification skills with support from the workshop lead. The session will be relaxed and hands on, and it is designed to build your confidence in spotting and recording different solitary bees.
