At the end of February we launched our CLT Network Manifesto. As the General Election draws closer it's an important time to begin lobbying our prospective parliamentary candidates to commit to making affordable housing and community places a priority. At the same time, many of us welcome new councillors in our Local Elections, who we can invite to take a lead in supporting CLTs and their projects locally.

In this session Tom Chance (CLT Network CEO) will talk us through how to influence leaders, lobby and take action locally to create a better policy environment for CLTs locally and nationally.

You can expect to hear:

  • A reminder of our key manifesto policy proposals for local and national change
  • How you can campaign locally and engage your community and members
  • How your actions locally can feed into supporting the CLT movement nationally

We hope you'll join us!

Who's the webinar for? This session is for CLT Network members including CLT members, hubs and associates who are interested in campaigning and lobbying for the upcoming elections. Depending on uptake, this session may include a specific breakout session for groups joining from Wales.
