Good community engagement is essential to make sure that your CLT has local support when you search for land, submit planning permission, build new projects, or fundraise for bigger projects. It can also work to position your CLT as an organisation for the whole community, as opposed to a group set up to deliver a singular, specific project. However, we know that CLTs are often stretched for time and money – that’s why this session will explore how CLTs can fund their community engagement work.
