The mission of the National Congress of Black Women, Incorporated is to improve the educational, economic, social and political status of Black women and their families; to serve as a nonpartisan voice and instrument for the election, appointment and participation of Black women in the educational, economic, social and political arenas. NCBW-KC is a federal and state 501 (c) 3 Tax Exempt, Charitable Organization. NCBW is a membership driven organization with programs and services that help address issues impacting the quality of life of Black women, youth and underserved community members. NCBW-KC empowers families through advocacy, representation, community leadership, scholarships, internships, education, and sisterhood.
