About the event
A better future is possible today, and it starts in Knutsford!
The People’s Emergency Briefing is a powerful 50-minute public information documentary that lays bare the reality of the climate and nature crisis in the UK.
Hosted by naturalist Chris Packham and featuring leading scientists and economic experts, the film adapts a landmark briefing delivered to UK politicians in Westminster.
It explores the critical, real-world impacts of extreme weather on our food security, health, and economy, while focusing on a hopeful, action-oriented call for community resilience and urgent government mobilisation.
We have invited Ryan Jude, Director of the Green Finance Institute, Nigel Hennerley, a long term Green campaigner and Nick Eadie, a member of Wilmslow Transition, to join us and after the film there will be an open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.
The event is free but please reserve a ticket.
