Firestone Bay is a stunning spot in Plymouth, located on the shores of the UK’s first National Marine Park. Beyond its scenic views, the area is rich with fascinating plants and natural wonders. Join us for a botany walk, where we’ll discover the local flora thriving along the shore and cliffs.
Led by a local expert, you’ll learn to identify a variety of plants, uncover the folklore and traditions surrounding them, and explore the ways these plants have been used for centuries. From ancient stories to practical tips on foraging, you’ll gain a deeper connection to the natural world and its cultural significance.

Moderate mobility is required for this event, though the walk is accessible for mobility scooters than can go on grassy terrain
Meeting Point: Oasis Cafe (Foodbank) - we will then travel together by bus to RWY (provided for by PSNMP)
