To celebrate SeaFest Step into centuries of salty, seafaring history with this guided walking tour through Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, part of Plymouth Sound National Marine Park — the UK’s first marine park.

Led by local heritage guide, this 45 minute walk explores the coastal paths and gardens of Mount Edgcumbe, uncovering the park's deep maritime connections. Discover stories of explorers like Captain Cook and Charles Darwin, the historic role of Barn Pool, and the legacy of Plymouth as a gateway to global voyages.

Whether you're lightly salted or salt is in your veins, this is a chance to see Plymouth Sound from a new perspective and discover another chapter of its story.

Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for uneven ground. Suitable for ages 10+, all children must be accompanied by an adult. The walk includes gentle slopes and coastal paths.
