A night of chap hop, and cheese!
Head to the heart of the galleries to enjoy an evening with three perfect gents, a right little madam, and a mountain of cheese.
Join Mr B, Professor Elemental, Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq and Madam Misfit as we delve into the world of chap hop, with a side order of cheese
In 2019 Swiss cheesemaker Beat Wampfler and a team of researchers from the Bern University of Arts played different musical genres to cheese for a 6-month period and found that hip-hop gave the cheese an especially funky flavour.
As chap hop is far superior to hip hop, we thought what better way to spend the evening than with four amazing performers and a plate of cheese!
So, grab a cheese knife (one must always use the correct implement for the task) and join us for an homage to fromage!
£17.50 per person (including a cheese plate)
Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer
From deepest darkest Surrey, and with a decade of gentlemanly catterwalling under his belt, Mr. B brings you Chap-Hop, re-acquainting Hip-Hop with the Queen's English from whence it came. His legendary live recitals have earned him plaudits, largely from top shelf gentlemen's quarterlies.
Professor Elemental
Professor elemental was born in deepest Ipswich, the latest in a long line of loons. Fed on a diet of pureed swan and old-fashioned British madness, he soon grew into one of the least respected and most ridiculed Professors to ever be turned away from every London society (including the cub scouts and the WI). Undeterred, he continues to work tirelessly on inventions that are both unwanted and unwelcome in polite society with the aid of his trusty butler Pugh and his Augmented Oran tang Geoffrey.
Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq
With banjolele in hand, Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq. has been delivering his own brand of musical humour across the UK since 2016. His performances charm audiences with a unique mix of original material, singalong classics and a sharp vintage wardrobe.
Madam Misfit
The extraordinary, the peculiar, the misunderstood and the “can’t quite put my finger on it” add a beat and a sprinkle of humour and this is what you get! Standing strong for all the misfits of the world, Madam Misfit is an advocate for fellow red heads releasing her first track entitled “Red Haired Misfit” to turn the many negatives pinpointed at this wonderful hair colour on its head.
