Give the Gift of Stories: National Writers Series 2026 Gift Certificates

Give the gift of great stories this season.

National Writers Series Gift Certificates are the perfect way to treat someone you love to an unforgettable literary experience. Recipients can redeem their certificate toward any 2026 NWS event—whether it’s at the City Opera House, Milliken Auditorium, or online!

Because our events take place in multiple venues with different ticket prices, gift certificates are issued as flexible dollar amounts. When the recipient is ready to use their certificate, they simply email us and we’ll help them select tickets for the event of their choice.

How it works:

1. Choose a gift certificate amount.

2. Complete your purchase through Ticket Tailor.

3. You’ll receive a digital gift certificate with instructions for the recipient.

4. When they’re ready, they email us at operations@nwstc.org to redeem.

We take care of everything from there — including coordinating tickets at the City Opera House or issuing tickets directly for events at our other partner venues.

Fine Print

• National Writers Series Gift Certificates may be redeemed toward tickets for any 2026 NWS event, regardless of venue.

• Certificates hold their face value and expire December 31, 2026.

• If your certificate exceeds the cost of the ticket, the remaining balance can be applied to a future event.

• If your certificate does not fully cover a ticket or book bundle, we will invoice the difference at the time of redemption.

• Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.

• To redeem, email operations@nwstc.org with your preferred event and certificate amount.

• For City Opera House events, NWS will coordinate the comped seats directly with the COH box office on your behalf
