Please Join Us for the 2026 National Writers Series Summer Gala!

Your support of the gala directly fuels NWS educational programming and makes Traverse City one of America’s great literary towns.

You are invited to the National Writers Series Summer Gala for an evening spent looking into the future with biophysicist and futurist Dr. Gregory Stock, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Book of Questions. His new book, Generation AI and The Transformation of Human Being, optimistically predicts how AI will alter future generations — from personal relationships to our cognitive abilities.

But will AI help us? Or become us?

Come find out. Join us for an entertaining night, cocktails, dinner, and a keynote speech by Gregory Stock with his big questions and bold ideas. Together, we’ll imagine what lies ahead.
