Our online interviews for Backstage Membership are happening on:

☆ Tuesday 14th July

About the Interview

When you sign up, you will select a 15-minute interview slot of your choice. At the beginning of your time slot, you will enter into the main zoom room, where our NYT Ambassadors will welcome you and answer any last minute Qs before sending you into a breakout room for your interview.

The interview is a chance to talk about your experience, why you want to join NYT and ask any questions you may have. You will also be asked to present your response to the Interview Task set out in the interview guide.

About the Courses 

Led by industry experts, NYT Backstage Courses offer a deep-dive into your chosen discipline, unlocking new skills and giving exclusive access to the dynamic world of backstage production.

The 2026 Backstage Courses will run from Monday 24th - Friday 28th August. You'll have the choice of four disciplines: Stage Management, Costume, Lighting, and Sound.

Backstage Courses are open to participants ages 16-25, or up to age 30 if you have experienced physical, systemic or attitudinal barriers to accessing the arts.
