Four Black boys. One isolation room. The year before the exams that decide everything. Ahmed, Marfo, Olanrewaju and Zachary turn four walls into somewhere they can finally be soft, silly, scared and entirely themselves. Classroom Chronicles is a new play about Black boyhood, friendship and freedom.

Running time is approximately 1hr.30 minutes. No interval.

We encourage you to arrive from 7pm to join us for pre-show drinks, with the play starting promptly at 7:30pm. 

Content warning: The production explores themes of racism, school exclusion, isolation, emotional distress, academic pressure, and marginalisation. It may also contain strong language and discussions of identity and self-worth.

The cast is: Mahmood Akinsemoyin as Olanrewaju, Frederick Konneh as Ahmed, Nana Peprah-Mensah as Marfo, and Kyan Rowe as Zachary.
