Deer Park Prairie Fall Work Day

Take part in our biggest work day of the year at Deer Park Prairie! This event is a great opportunity to get involved in hands-on conservation efforts, no matter your level of experience. We’ll focus on transforming old woody motte areas back to prairie, distributing milkweed seeds on the south side, eliminating woody sprouts, and clearing the eastside fence lines.

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and protect yourself from the sun. All necessary tools will be provided.
