Bird Walk at Dowell Ranch

Native Prairies Association of Texas and Travis Audubon are cohosting a bird walk at Dowell Ranch, NPAT's headquarters, on February 15th from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. 

Join Kirsti Harms, Rachel Zierzow, and James Giroux as they lead a walk through the 150-acre ranch in Manchaca, just south of Austin. The ranch features a mix of habitats, including small ponds, grasslands, woodlands, and a spring. This walk focuses on birdwatching, but we will also take note of other interesting wildlife.

The walk covers about 2 miles on mostly flat terrain at a relaxed pace. All levels of birders are welcome. Registration is required and limited to 15 participants.
