Hosted by the Houston Chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas

The Wildflowers & Wine Tour on Saturday, April 5th, offers a full day of prairie exploration and wine tasting. The tour departs from First United Methodist Church, 1010 7th Street, Hempstead, where free parking is available. 

Four private prairie restorations will be visited—two in the Brenham area and two in the La Grange area. The day will conclude at The Vine Tasting Room in New Ulm, where wine tasting, charcuterie, and pizza are included in the tour price. 

Travel will be on a private bus, limited to 35 people, and due to private property access, individual cars are not allowed. 

The tour begins at 7:00 AM and will return at approximately 6:00 PM. The cost is $150 per person.
