Science, Evidence & Analysis for Nature Recovery - Conference

Join us for a day of connection, collaboration and inspiration. This in-person event will explore the science, evidence and analysis we need to recover nature and ensure it continues to underpin our economy and wider society, now and into the future.

Join Natural England’s CEO, Marian Spain and our Chief Scientist Professor Sallie Bailey, together with keynote talks from Professor Sir John Lawton, Dr Julia Baker (Mott Macdonald), and Professor Michael Winter OBE (University of Exeter) with a panel discussion chaired by Natural England’s Chair, Dr Tony Juniper CBE.

There will be presentations throughout the day showcasing some of our most cutting-edge science and evidence, from integrating nature and climate, to sustainable development, health and security - highlighting the real-world impact of our work and the challenges we’re tackling together.

We’ll also be unveiling our new Science, Evidence and Analysis Framework, which sets out how we’re investing in our capability, our partnerships and innovation to help nature and our economy thrive together.
