About the artist:

Blue Artemis is the brainchild of Mark Cranfield, a Twigworth-based multi-disciplinary artist currently exploring surface pattern design.

His work is inspired by native flora and fauna alongside traditional mid-20th century patterns such as chintz and paisley, which he reworks in unusual and diverse visual combinations.Merging these with his own contemporary motifs, he creates a mixture of simple and complex designs with each piece collaged individually by hand.This is what makes Blue Artemis unique.
