Designed completely around the absolute beginner, or those who just fancy a dabble, these sessions provide a great opportunity to try out new art techniques and mediums.

Morning Session: 10am - 12pm

Afternoon Session: 1pm - 3pm

Dying Tissue Paper with Gill Barrett. 

Today with artist and Nature in Art volunteer Gill Barrett, you will learn the art of hand dyeing tissue paper! Wet strength tissue paper can be dyed, resisted, dipped and painted just like fabric, to create a stunning and vibrant range of patterns ready for use in your craft projects. Learn how to do some of these techniques and create a mini painting with your favourite piece.
