Heritage Week Event: Irish Birds at Risk

Join Nature Network Ireland this Heritage Week for an engaging and informative talk as we discuss the incredible Irish bird life that has seen a decline in recent years. We will discuss various birds in Tramore Valley Park and throughout Ireland that are listed as threatened and endangered, along with the loss of habitat that contributes to their decline. We will also discuss actions we can all take in our daily lives to promote habitats and the birds that call Ireland their home.

This event will be held online and led by ornithologist Sarah Barry a community-focused ecologist, ornithologist, and former veterinary surgeon with a strong foundation in Irish agricultural systems and landscape ecology. She is experienced in bird monitoring, habitat restoration, and science communication.
