Meet: 12:15pm at the Galway Atlantaquaria Stand
As part of this years Galway Docklands Festival Nature Network Ireland are delighted to offer an otter walk and talk . This one hour walk will be led by ecologist James Glackin will show how to look for signs of otters and their habitats. We will follow the path around the loop of Lough Ataila and finish at the docklands festival.
This event is funded by Galway Atlantaquaria Aquarium in Salthill and is run in conjunction with Galway Docklands Festival.
Come and spend an hour and learn about these charismatic creatures.
- The docklands area sits a short walk south-east of Eyre Square along the river Corrib
- Easily reached on foot from the city centre or from the bus and rail stations.
- Parking in the docklands area can be tight on festival days; the Long Walk car park is the nearest option
