The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) will be hosting a hybrid Industry Day Event on Tuesday, 30 January 2024 from 1000-1350 (Eastern Time, USA). In-person check-in will be from 0900 – 1000 (Eastern Time, USA). The event will take place in the Melville Room (RM 306 - BLDG 77L) 1000 Kitty Hawk Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19112 and via Microsoft Teams. Visitors may park in the parking lot along Kitty Hawk Avenue. Parking is free.

This event is to provide an opportunity for industry to better understand the requirements of the NSWCPD and to assist industry in their efforts to do business with the Navy. All federal contractors (large and small) that are interested in NSWCPD contracting and subcontracting opportunities representing all industries that provide services or supplies related to NSWCPD requirements are encouraged to attend this event. There is no cost to attend this event.

In-person registration will close on 12/6/23 @ 18:00. 

Online registration will close 1/2/23 @1800. 

Those on the registration list who elect virtual attendance will be sent the link to access the MS Teams presentation the week before the event. When registering, make sure to include the following information in your sign-up:

Company name, name of attendees from your company, Company POC name and email address, completion and submission of either the DISS visit request or “Visitor Badge Procedures” form (for in-person attendance) no later than 12/6/23 @ 18:00, and response to topic of interest question.

In-Person Registration

Due to space limitations, no more than two representatives from each contractor will be permitted to attend in person. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached. All attendees will be required to present photo identification. Attendees not cleared ahead of time will not be allowed to access the event. Foreign Nationals are not permitted to register for the in-person event.

Contractors with a Clearance or a T3 investigation

  • Submit a DISS visit request using SMO code “64498” - NSWC PHILADELPHIA DIVISION (not N64498) no later than 12/6/23 @ 18:00.
  • Utilize Thomas Sartin at thomas.n.sartin.civ@us.navy.mil as the POC.

Contractors without a Clearance or T3 Investigation

  • Please send a list of attendees, email addresses, and company name to thomas.n.sartin.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 12/6/23 @ 18:00.

Virtual Registration

A maximum of two online tickets per contractor will be issued, if logging in via separate devices. There is no limit to the number of attendees from a company if you are accessing via the same login session/device, but registration information shall be provided for one individual.

Other notes:

- Neither the planning nor the establishment of an Industry Day constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). Participation in the Industry Day, as well as current and/or follow on Requests for Information, is neither mandatory nor is it a requisite to future participation by a contractor in any future contract Request for Proposal (RFP).

- Please note that the forecast is for informational purposes only. - Attendees should submit questions beforehand to the POC listed in this announcement. Those questions will be answered during the presentations if possible. Questions provided during or after may not be addressed during the presentation.

- Recording devices or attempts to broadcast the event will not be allowed.
