Lobe Studios announce Sound Sanctuary, An Immersive, Therapeutic Listening Experience created and facilitated by Music Therapist (BMT) and Intern Counsellor, Navin Sahjpaul

This experience consists of a collection of compositions that were created during Navin Sahjpaul’s 3-week Therapeutic Integration artist residency at Lobe Studios in September 2024. Navin’s intention with this residency was to explore the Therapeutic Application of 4D Sound by creating compositions and soundscapes to be used in conjunction with other healing modalities (Breathwork, Yoga, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy)

At Sound Sanctuary, you are invited to slow down, pause, and rest as you experience an auditory landscape Navin has designed to evoke deep relaxation, reflection, inner exploration, and peace. Whether you're seeking to relieve stress, enhance your mindfulness practice, or simply unwind, this experience offers a sanctuary of sound that nurtures both the mind, heart, body, and spirit

You are invited to experience the sounds at the Lobe space which uses 4DSOUND technology within which sound ebbs and flows, forming sonic environments holographically and without perceivable sources. The space uniquely includes an array of speakers across the ceiling and under the floor and custom-designed vibroacoustic floor panels (Lobe is the only studio in the world with a vibroacoustic panel on the floor)

Drawing on a blend of natural soundscapes, synthesizers, and field recordings, the event creates an immersive environment that promotes clarity and healing. You will be enveloped in an expertly curated landscape designed to evoke deep relaxation, reflection, and inner peace. Whether you're seeking to relieve stress, enhance your mindfulness practice, or simply unwind, this experience offers a sanctuary of sound that nurtures both the mind and body

Lobe is a 4D SOUND Spatial sound studio located centrally in Vancouver’s Strathcona neighbourhood. Founded in Vancouver in 2020, Lobe is the first dedicated spatial sound studio in North America to work with a permanently integrated 4D SOUND system

Mats, bolsters, blankets, and pillows are provided. You are encouraged to bring your own if needed for more comfort
