Mindfulness for Changemakers
Please join us on Monday 17th February for an evening of mindfulness for changemakers. Set in a cosy Bedouin tent in Liverpool Street, it is an opportunity to cultivate peace within ourselves and connect more deeply with others in our movement.
Changemakers of all kinds - activists, policymakers, sustainability leaders - have found refuge in mindfulness practices. These practices can be powerful in times of crisis; helping to build resilience and hope.
On the third Monday of each month, we will host a peer-led evening of mindfulness inspired by Plum Village; the Zen monastery established by Zen master and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh. Sessions are guided and those that are new and familiar with mindfulness practices are equally welcome. After several practices, such as meditation and group sharing, we will have a meal together.
- Arrival: 6pm
- Session start: 6:15pm
- (Optional) Food and Social: 8pm
