Mindfulness for Changemakers - Special London Climate Action Week Session

Please join us for a special London Climate Action Week Mindfulness for Changemakers session on Sunday 22nd June at a beautiful community garden near Dalston in London.

At the start of LCAW, we invite changemakers of all kinds - activists, policymakers, sustainability leaders, social changemakers - to come together, to cultivate peace and resilience for the week ahead and to more deeply connect with others in the movement leading change from a more mindful place.

Many changemakers have found refuge in mindfulness practices, which can be particularly powerful in times of crisis; helping to build resilience and hope.

We are hosting our first outdoor peer-led evening of mindfulness inspired by the zen buddhist tradition of Plum Village. We will invite you to arrive from 2:30 pm to enjoy teas and cakes and get to know one another, followed by a gentle sitting and then walking meditation and then a reading and space for smaller group sharings. We will end the evening with a nourishing vegan meal and more time to connect with other changemakers. Sessions are guided and those that are new and familiar with mindfulness practices are equally welcome. 

Space is limited to 50 places, so please register if you are planning to attend! Registration is free, with an option to donate towards venue and food costs. If you would like to facilitate part of the session or join the whatsapp group, please message us. Feel free to bring a Tupperware, so any leftover food can be taken home and enjoyed later.
