An evening of mindfulness in the Plum Village tradition  — a chance to pause, to nourish yourself, and to connect with others working to create a more sustainable and just world. Our summer gathering will take place in a nature reserve right by Arsenal tube station.

Mindfulness has long been a refuge for those working in the climate movement and other causes - activists, policymakers, sustainability professionals, systemic change practitioners and social changemakers. In times of challenge and uncertainty, these practices help us find steadiness, resilience, and hope.

What to expect: The evening will be peer-led and inspired by the Plum Village tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, offering mindful eating, walking in nature, guided meditations, and space for group sharing. We’ll begin with a wholesome vegan meal, followed by gentle practices that are accessible whether you are completely new or more experienced in meditation.

Donations: this event is entirely run by volunteers with no external funding. We would ask all of those who can, to donate, so that we can continue to meet and book future sessions.

Timing:

Arrival: 6:15pm

Shared vegan meal & social: 6:15pm

Mindfulness session: 7:00 - 9:00pm

Optional socialising until 10pm

Finding it: Turn left from Arsenal tube and walk through the brick gate on your left, follow the long path to the blue house.

About us: We are a diverse community of changemakers and we welcome people of all backgrounds, religions, gender identities, and ways of life. The event organised by volunteers from the London sanghas.

We are very happy that you found us and we look forward to seeing you.
