Near-ta Theatre was founded by Ciaran Clarke and Daniel Richards, who have been writing and devising their own shows in Cornwall since late 2003, with considerable support from The Poly, Falmouth. Across the years we’ve told many stories at venues across England, and will continue taking our work far and wide: creating innovative theatre, and also site-specific, heritage and community commissions.

Each Near-ta production is original, comic and inventive, and we aim to take our style of theatre to audiences across the country for many years to come.
