Life-Cycle Assessment Accelerator Workshop

Sustainability is critically important as many organisations are required to report on their carbon footprints or seek to reduce emissions. However, sustainability extends well beyond carbon and quantifying other environmental impacts such as land, water and materials use is increasingly connected with resilient supply chains, customer demands and profitability.
In this introductory in-person workshop, you will learn about life-cycle assessment (LCA) and how it can be used to quantify a wide range of environmental impacts. This is powerful because it allows you to compare options and provides a quantitative basis for decision making. You will become familiar with whole life-cycle thinking and the methodology used to assess the environmental sustainability of products. This will be explained through simple and practical examples that allow you to directly experience LCA. In addition, you will also learn about how to deepen your LCA skills outside of the workshop.
The workshop is suitable for any professional interested in how sustainability affects their organisation. This spans across sectors from consumer products to local government and is equally important whether you are from an SME or a multinational company. An essential feature of this Accelerator is that it delivers high-value training for non-experts in a short period of time. This allows you to rapidly familiarise with a complex topic and immediately add value after the workshop.
The cost of the workshop is £275 + VAT.
