Calgary to Banff - Holiday Train Chase - Dec 15th, 2024

The one-day train chase to intercept the Holiday Train is back! We'll load into the van at 9:00am to get ready to chase the train from Calgary to Banff. We'll leapfrog the train, stopping for the best scenes all along the way. We'll make sure to be in place for the Banff show and capture some of the most iconic images of the train you can make. This is a full moon night, so the surrounding ambiance could be spectacular if it's clear.

We'll get you back home by 10:00pm. This day trip is $325+gst per person.

Items suggested for a successful chase

• Modern DSLR or Mirrorless Camera
• Long lens, wide lens, between lens!
  
• Extra batteries and memory cards
• STURDY and easy-to-deploy tripod
• WARM boots, gloves, and hats
• Snowpants and durable winter wear

This tour can be more rigorous than our regular trips, with the fast ins and outs from the van, tromping through deep snow and ice, and the occasional short hike needed to access locations. This tour is for any level of photographer, but it is best if you already have a good understanding of the manual operation of your camera. We will be photographing in all types of lighting and weather conditions.

You must be 18 years or older to attend this class. By registering for this class, you release Neil Zeller Photography, the location, and any other involved parties from any liability. You must sign a liability release form at the start of the workshop day.
