In 2022 the NE Lancs Area of the Ramblers will celebrate its 91st year of being part of the Ramblers.

We organise and manage the monthly COACH RAMBLES visiting Cumbria, the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire and North Wales. There are pickup points throughout East Lancashire.

The coach ramble walks are inspired by the landscape, history, myths and legends, famous people, heritage trails, country parks, industrial landmarks, famous food and pubs.

The coaches pick up passengers at locations throughout North East Lancashire including Darwen, Blackburn and several locations within Hyndburn, the Ribble Valley, Padiham, Burnley, Nelson and Colne area.

We are pleased that we can offer three walks each month. Occasionally we can offer an A walk during the summer months.

Coach Rambles are open to everyone, and we always like to encourage new walkers.
