🌱 WHAT IS ZOUK LAB WEDNESDAYS?
ZoukLab
Wed is a Brazilian Zouk Community that combines progressive and continuous
learning classes for Zoukurius and Zouk dancers who are focused on becoming great dancers in
an environment that's fun, growth, and community-oriented.
Our mission is to support dancers grow and enjoy their zouk journey in a way that feels healthy and sustainable.
Classes are progressive within each month, but non-progressive from month to month, so you can join at the start of any monthly cycle.
This project is part of the Nelly Caldeira Ecosystem, created to support social dancers in building confidence and living a happier, healthier, and more meaningful life — on and off the dance floor.
Classes are movement-focused and intentionally designed to blend:
• Technique you can actually use
• Guided practice with embodied learning
• Personal progress within a collective, supportive environment
This is a community space where learning feels fun, exciting, effective, and sustainable.
❌ WHAT IT IS NOT?
This is not just another regular Zouk class simply focused on patterns and quick fixes.
It’s an invitation for you to make dance & community a way of life. 💛
We’re seeking dancers who are committed to learning the beautiful art of Brazilian Zouk while also having fun. We want you to feel good, dance confidently, and grow together in a supportive environment.
Our focus is on the quality of your movement— deepening your dance skills, building real connections, and enjoying the journey. This is a place for you to feel welcome, challenged, and at home.
🎯 WHO IS THIS FOR?
• Dancers who want to improve the quality of their dance, have fun, and feel truly supported in a welcoming community.
• Dancers who value intentional, sustainable growth — not shortcuts.
• Social dancers ready to move from “knowing steps” to dancing with clarity, confidence, and connection.
• Students open to exploring body conditioning, wellbeing, and complementary tools beyond Zouk technique.
💡 WHY JOIN ZOUK LAB?
Because you want more than just basic zouk classes. You want:
✔ A clear learning structure without rigidity.
✔ A space to integrate, practice, and embody what you learn.
✔ A supportive community that grows together.
✔ Tools that support your dance and wellbeing.
✔ A program designed for sustainability, not burnout.
