LOOK GOOD ✨ FEEL GOOD

Brazilian Zouk Intensive with Elijah & Nelly in San Fransisco.

📍 Mood & Moves Dance Co. — San Francisco
🗓️ November 7–8, 2026.

🫂 4.5 hours of workshops
💃 5+ hours of dancing (Saturday Galaxy Social + Sunday Practica)

Have you ever felt like you had to choose between how your dance feels and how it looks?

Maybe you feel amazing with your partner, but wonder what happened to your posture, stability, or confidence. Or maybe you’re so focused on making the movement look “right” that you lose some of the comfort, connection, and enjoyment along the way.

What if you didn’t have to choose?

In this intensive, Elijah & Nelly will share practical tools, principles, and techniques to help you move with more comfort & confidence while developing a dance that you feel and look proud of.

Whether you’ve been dancing Zouk for 8 months or 8 years, our intention is for you to walk away with a clearer structure for how to improve your dance because in one way or another we all want to feel and look better as dancers.

Nelly Caldeira is a Brazilian Zouk instructor, Personal Transformation Coach, and the founder and director of ZoukLab in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Brazil, she began dancing Zouk in 2014 in Rio de Janeiro, training at Renata Peçanha’s school and with artists including Paloma & William and Val & Vanessa.

Since moving to the Bay Area in 2018, Nelly has taught, performed, competed, judged, and coached internationally, including work with the MAC Project in Paris. As both a leader and follower, her teaching focuses on technique, movement quality, body awareness, self-expression, connection, and helping dancers develop a stronger sense of confidence and autonomy on and off the dance floor.

As a Personal Transformation Coach and mentor to social and professional dancers for 5+ years, Nelly combines her warmth, sense of humor, and coaching experience to create spaces where dancers feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow, while remembering that dance is meant to be both fun, meaningful, and sustainable.

Elijah has been dancing Brazilian Zouk since 2013 and teaching since 2014. Coming from a world of competitive Latin and Ballroom dancing, he fell in love with the unique music and endless possibilities of Zouk. It was a dance that felt liked it combined the best parts of some of his favorite dances. With a focus on building welcoming spaces and Zouk communities throughout the US and internationally, he brings a steady, grounded presence to the classroom and social floor. He has been a leader in the Zouk Phoenix community for over 10 years and regularly teaches dancers from beginners to advanced every week.

He regularly competes in Jack and Jills and shows and in 2026, he earned first place in the Advanced Division at the Brazilian Zouk World Championships, a milestone that reflects years of consistent training rather than flash. He loves the creative freedom and expression that Brazilian Zouk offers and looks to embody that in his teaching and in his dancing.

DISCLAIMER:
This workshop doesn’t aim to teach one “right” way to look, move, or express yourself. Instead, it’s about helping you develop more body awareness, trust, appreciation, and confidence in your own dance.
