In this peer-led workshop, Kansas and Missouri participants ages 12-20 create 6x6 inch artwork that answers "What does peace look like to me?” Artwork can include paintings, drawings, poems, etc. Participants are encouraged to use mixed media provided at the workshop. Upon the conclusion of the workshop, participants have the chance to include their artwork in the CITYarts’s Online Exhibition, joining over 12,000 other art pieces from youth internationally.

Free; but space is limited, RSVP required.

This workshop will be led by Sheila Njiru. Njiru earned her Associate of Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College and is working on her Visual Merchandising Certificate through the Fashion and Merchandising program at Johnson County Community College. She is a current intern at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.
