MESAF Webinar- Maine Workforce Development Compact

The Maine Workforce Development Compact provides financial support for workforce development training – up to $1200 per employee per year. Any employer, private, NGO, sole-proprietor, or other, can apply to be a member of the compact. Companies need not be incorporated in the State of Maine, but cost-sharing is only available for those who work in Maine. Benefits are not limited to those working as foresters or to forestry conferences or courses.

Maine SAF is hosting a webinar for those interested in learning more about eligibility, terms, and sideboards on Wednesday, September 9^th at 1:00 pm. Charles Collins, Executive Director for Workforce Training at the Maine Community College System, will give a short presentation, followed by a Q&A session.

There is no fee to participate, but you will need to register to receive the Zoom connect information.
