Meet the Author! Ness Book Fest is delighted to host local Author V.J. Cooper. VJ Cooper writes Historical Fiction with an otherworldly twist. Her novels, set in the Victorian era in Scotland, are evocative, imaginative and compelling with unexpected revelations. Her debut novel, A Sense of Jane, was inspired by a true story and is followed by the fictional series Charlie’s Ghost of a Chance, its sequel, Scandal at Balfour Hall, and she is currently writing the
third in the series. Veryan has also published a poetry book, Life as I know it : A wee book of poetry.
There is always a ghost or two woven into her stories which weaves an air of mystery and intrigue through them.
She lives in the Scottish Highlands, overlooking the sea, and is inspired by the countryside and historic buildings around her.

Please note: Tickets are issued in 10 minute blocks to save you waiting for a long time. We will try to accommodate everyone so don't stress if you are running late but please do try to kind and mindful of everyone in the queue. A Ness Book Fest volunteer will be there to assist you.
