Cáit O'Neill McCullagh - Author Book Signing Trail

Meet the Author! Ness Book Fest is delighted to host local Poet and Author Cáit O'Neill McCullagh. Cáit began writing poetry, at home in Easter Ross, in 2021. Her poems have been published widely including in journals, anthologies, and The Scotsman. She has inspired work by musicians and artists, including a collaboration with renowned Scottish Sculptor Helen Dennerley. Winner of a Saboteur Award in 2023, in 2025 she was shortlisted for The Bridport Prize and won The McLellan Prize. Later that year, her first full-length collection ‘The Bone Folder’ was shortlisted for best poetry debut in the Saltires: Scotland’s Book Awards. Cáit is the inaugural Poet in Residence for the UHI Institute for Northern Studies.
